-- Favourites from Canada AM, TSN, CP24 and MTV come together to host daily six-hour show from Vancouver 2010 --

CTV revealed today additional details surrounding OLYMPIC MORNING, the official morning show of Canada's Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium. Airing February 13 to 28 from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. to 12 noon ET, live from Vancouver and Whistler, the six-hour daily show is the go-to destination for Canadians each morning with exclusive up-to-the-minute coverage of the Games, both on and off the field of competition. In addition to a review of the previous day's sporting events and recaps from the podium and the parties, OLYMPIC MORNING will also feature a look at the day to come and a non-stop rotating guest lineup of the Olympians, newsmakers and celebrities of Vancouver 2010.

"During the Games, Canadians can tune in to OLYMPIC MORNING to get the latest stories from Vancouver 2010 with the very same passion, spirit and enthusiasm they're accustomed to getting from CTV's Canada AM," said Lis Travers, Vice-President and Executive Producer of Canada AM.  "OLYMPIC MORNING is truly a 16-day, all-access pass to exclusive news, features and fun that will keep viewers entertained and informed throughout the Games."

OLYMPIC MORNING will be broadcast live from Vancouver's International Broadcast Centre (IBC) and CTV Mountain Square in the heart of Whistler.  Hosting from Vancouver are Beverly Thomson, co-host of Canada AM, and TSN's Jay Onrait. Thomson's Canada AM co-host, Seamus O'Regan joins Melissa Grelo, co-host of Toronto's popular morning show CP24 Breakfast, live on location in Whistler.  Journalist Marci Ien presents the national news from the IBC, while Jeff Hutcheson delivers the weather live from a different Vancouver or Whistler location every day of the Games.

Providing full overnight party reports and celebrity sightings on OLYMPIC MORNING are etalk's Lainey (in Whistler) and Susie Wall (in Vancouver).  MTV personalities Jessi Cruickshank and Dan Levy provide the "Morning After Show," reporting on the previous night's Victory Ceremonies and concerts, while MTV Live host Daryn Jones and MTV News host Aliya-Jasmine Sovani take viewers to Vancouver and Whistler, after dark. Additionally, when the puck drops at the Games, TSN hockey analyst Gino Reda brings viewers the story, analysis and interviews with hockey A-listers.

OLYMPIC MORNING will also broadcast live throughout the Games from GE Plaza at Robson Square in downtown Vancouver, featuring skating performances from Canadian Olympians like Elvis Stojko, as well as entertainers such as Barenaked Ladies. Meanwhile, OLYMPIC MORNING's roving weather guy Jeff Hutcheson takes on the Canadian men's curling team and invites viewers inside some of the best venues and celebration sites at Vancouver 2010.

Finally, as our athletes attempt to strike gold on home soil, OLYMPIC MORNING will be right there with them, presenting exclusive interviews with our Olympic Games champions, their families and the key people who helped them along the way, including live on location interviews from Canada Hockey House.

A companion French-language morning show, LE RÉVEIL OLYMPIQUE, airs daily on V and RDS from February 13 to 28 at 4 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. ET and delivers exclusive interviews with Olympians, coaches, newsmakers and special guests, plus a look-back at the previous day's news and highlights, and a look-ahead to key events each day.  With a focus on Québécois and Canadian athletes, LE RÉVEIL OLYMPIQUE is hosted by well-known sports broadcaster Claude Mailhot on location in Vancouver.
