Arlesheim, Switzerland -- Swiss skip Ralph Stoeckli bettered Stefan Karnusian in a best of seven series on Wednesday to win Switzerland's Olympic Trials and book his ticket to the 2010 Winter Games.

Vancouver will mark the second Olympics for Stoeckli, who skipped the Swiss to a 5-4 record at the 2006 Games and finished out of medal contention.

Stoeckli, third Jan Hauser, second Markus Eggler and lead Simon Strubin won the series in the fifth game with a 7-4 victory, giving them a 4-1 series win, according to thecurlingnews.com.

The series took place over three days.

A silver medallist at the 2004 World Championships and gold medallist at the 2006 European Championships, Stoeckli's team is 12-4 on the World Curling Tour so far this season. They're currently ranked No. 13 in the world.

Karnusian and his rink are ranked No. 18.

The Olympics will be the first for Hauser and second for Stoeckli, Struebin and Eggler, who won bronze at the Salt Lake City Olympics.
