Freestyle Skiing is a mix of alpine skiing and acrobatics, skiers invented tricks and jumps such as the twister, spread-eagle, iron cross and the helicopter-an upright 360-degree spin.

Competition Preview

Gold medal up in the air

Freestyle skiing will be staged at Cypress Mountain and will include aerial, mogul and ski cross, which will be making its Olympic debut in 2010. Canadian aerialists and mogul skiers are expected to fare well against the international competition.
