VANCOUVER -- The final round of ticket sales for the 2010 Winter Olympics begins Saturday.

Tickets to alpine and Nordic events in Whistler are no longer available, due to transportation challenges.

But there are more than 100,000 tickets available for events in Vancouver, like curling and hockey, and they include seats at gold-medal events.

Tickets are also being sold for nightly victory ceremonies at BC Place, with more details on who will be performing at those events expected to be released later this week.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-serve basis through the Olympic committee's website.

Organizers are also putting the final touches on their ticket resale website which they expect to launch later this year to help people sell tickets they can't use.
