More than 100,000 tickets to the Olympic medal ceremonies go on sale Saturday.

The tickets starting at $22 are available on a first-come, first-served
basis to Canadian residents as part of the third - and final - major release
of tickets to the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

"The nightly Victory Ceremony tickets will be an inspirational and
affordable chance to share in the celebration surrounding Canada's Games in 2010," said VANOC official Caley Denton.

"Along with watching history in the making at the medal ceremonies, these tickets also give spectators access to great entertainment."

The indoor ceremonies will be held on 12 nights only in 2010 and will be sponsored each night by a province or territory on a specially constructed stage.

The lineup of performers is to be released later this year by VANOC.

Tickets are available at www.vancouver2010.com beginning at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
