Women's hockey team among first wave to Vancouver

With the anticipation building on their flight from Calgary, members of the Canadian women's hockey team got their first glimpse of a 2010 Olympic venue from the air on Sunday night.

Competitive history »

Botterill was one of the finest players in U.S. college hockey when she played for Harvard University. She then played for the Toronto Aeros and later the Mississauga Chiefs, the 2008 Women's national champions.

Career highlights »

This two-time Patty Kazmaier Award winner is the all-time points leader in women's college hockey and lead Harvard to an NCAA championship. She's also a two-time Olympic champion and a five-time world champion.

Botterill is one of four current national team players to have played in all three Olympics, taking home two gold medals and one silver. She is a five-time world champion and also has three world championship silver medals.
