Sarah Vaillancourt had a standout career at Harvard University, winning the 2008 Patty Kazmaier Award as the top player in NCAA women's college hockey.
Vaillancourt tallied two goals and three assists as part of a dynamic infusion of youth as Canada won a gold medal at the 2006 Olympics in Turin.
