Wickenheiser played for the Calgary Oval X-Treme before going overseas to play in a Tier III Swedish men's league with Eskilstuna Linden. She won the 2007 Bobbie Rosenfeld Award as the Canadian Press female athlete of the year.

Career highlights »

Won two Olympic gold medals in women's ice hockey (2006, 2002) and was the Most Valuable player in both Olympic tournaments. She also earned a silver medal at the 1998 Olympics.
