Career highlights »

Wakefield earned valuable experience with Team Ontario and Canada's Under-18 team before joining the senior national squad for the 2008 4 Nations Cup and then as an alternate for the World Chammpionship in 2009.

Wakefield debuted with the national senior team at the 2007 4 Nations Cup, where she scored one goal to help Canada win the tournament. She also won gold at the 2008 Under-22 European Air Canada Cup.
