Vancouver 2010 was the Canadian short-track team's time to shine, with 2014 considered merely a year in the distant future.
Roberge is unbeaten, nationally. She qualified for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics by winning the 1000m and 1500m distance selection races.
Roberge took silver at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy. She also won the world title in 2007.
Italy's Giuliano Razzoli takes the gold medal in the men's slalom.
Mathieu Giroux, Lucas Makowsky and Denny Morrison win a tight race with the US.
