2007-2008
After two successful seasons on the European Cup circuit, and half a season on the World Cup circuit, Mike Douglas participated in his first full World Cup season in 2007-2008. His best result was a 12th place finish in December 2007 at Lake Placid, N.Y.
In 2008, Douglas competed at the FIBT World Championships for the first time. He finished in 15th place in men's skeleton.
2006-2007
Douglas started the 2006-2007 on the European Cup circuit. Halfway through the 2007-2008 season, Douglas jumped to the World Cup circuit for the first time. Douglas's first World Cup race was on January 13, 2007 in Nagano, Japan. He finished 18th.
In his second World Cup race on Feb. 9, 2007 in Cesana, Italy, Douglas earned a top-10 finish, placing 9th.
Pre-2006
Douglas raced on the European Cup circuit during the 2004-2005 season, the 2005-2006 season and for the first half of the 2006-2007 season.
Douglas joined the national team in 2003.
