Douglas didn't go out quietly

Mike Douglas never made it down the skeleton track Friday night but he didn't go out quietly either. Douglas shredded the FIBT and his own head coach, Willie Schneider, Saturday over an incident that saw him disqualified.

After two successful seasons on the European Cup circuit, and half a season on the World Cup circuit, Mike Douglas participated in his first full World Cup season in 2007-2008.

Career highlights »

Douglas' best World Cup result was a 9th place finish in February, 2007 at Cesana, Italy. He also finished third at the 2006-07 Canadian National Championships.

Results »

This Calgarian has been competing on the national team since 2003. He finished 15th at the world championships on the Altenberg, Germany track in 2008.
