Competitive history

2007-2008

Ciochetti alternated with Heather Moyse during the 2007-2008 World Cup season; each brakeman competed in four races with pilot Helen Upperton. Ciochetti made the most of her four World Cup appearances, winning two gold medals and one silver.

At the 2008 World Championships in Altenberg, Germany, Ciochetti and Helen Upperton finished in fourth place, just 1.27 seconds out of a bronze medal.

2006-2007

After only a few months of training, Ciochetti was promoted to race with Helen Upperton on the World Cup circuit. During the 2006-2007 season, Ciochetti alternated with Jamie Cruikshank; each brakeman competed in four races with pilot Helen Upperton. Ciochetti won a bronze medal in her very first World Cup race in Park City, USA on Dec. 1, 2006. She added another bronze at her second race in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy on Jan. 12, 2007.

As a brakeman for Helen Upperton, Ciochetti finished 6th at the 2007 World Championships in St. Mortiz, Switzerland. It was her first experience competing at the World Championships.

Ciochetti was recruited to the national team in the summer of 2006.
