While figure skaters often compete young, retire young, Canada's team in 2014 is bound to include some familiar faces.
Phaneuf had made it her goal to get back on Canada's team for the 2009 World Championships. Phaneuf's sparkling silver-medal performance at the Canadian Championships was enough to earn her a spot on the team.
After injuries and a troublesome growth spurt set her back, this Contrecoeur, Que. native earned the silver medal at the 2009 Canadian nationals. She was also the 2004 Skate Canada and national champion.
Italy's Giuliano Razzoli takes the gold medal in the men's slalom.
Mathieu Giroux, Lucas Makowsky and Denny Morrison win a tight race with the US.
