Despite pain and a long layoff, China wins gold

Chinese figure skaters Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo won gold in the pairs' figure skating competition, Monday evening. Russia was unable to finish on the podium, ending a 12-time gold-medal streak in the event.

Langlois and partner Cody Hay were out of competition for the 2008-09 season because Langlois had surgery in July 2008 to repair a spiral fracture in her lower right fibula.
