Canada's Christine Nesbitt skated to her second gold medal in as many days in Salt Lake City, winning the women's 1000-metre event. She also took silver with Kristina Groves and Cindy Klassen in team pursuit.

Canada finished one, two in the women's long track speed skating 1500-metre event at a world cup in Salt Lake City, on Saturday. Christine Nesbitt of London, Ont., won gold and Ottawa's Kristina Groves won silver.
